Group D of the Jmc World Cup Serbia 2014 held Spain, Mexico, Poland and Japan. Play began on December 9th 2014 with Spain and Japan. Spain and Mexico qualified after play concluded on April 28th 2015.

OverviewEdit

Spain won the tournament only once in 2005 on home soil. Japan was the host of the previous edition. They opened the group with the first game which was won by Spain who defeated Japan 4-0.

Mexico and Poland then played on December 16th 2014. This fixture was won by Mexico with a 1-0 victory.

Spain and Poland played in the second round on February 22nd 2015. This game ended in a 1-1 draw for both teams. Mexico and Japan played on February 26nd 2015 but that game ended in a 0-0 draw.

Spain and Mexico finished their play in the group on April 26th 2015. Spain won this game a clear 2-0 win thanks to David Villa providing both Spanish goals. Spain went through to the next round and Mexico went home.

Japan and Poland finished the group with Japan scoring a point which put Mexico through to the next round and Japan and Poland were eliminated.
